2023 Lexus UXh, coming soon

The entry-level SUV, the Lexus UXh has undergone some efficient changes last year like, for example, by becoming a 100 % hybrid model.  The all-new 2023 Lexus UXh takes this a step further still, by offering new options and cutting-edge technologies as well. 

A few new esthetic touches 

A few esthetic changes have been made for the newest model.  For example, the 2023 Lexus UXh offers new colors, bringing the number of choices up to 10. Three of these colors are also compatible with an all-new optional contrasting black roof:

• Cloudburst Gray
• Iridium
• Cadmium Orange 

The SUV now offers a more modern and updated style, without forgetting the optional packages, which bring an added touch of charm as well. Amongst these, two new packages are also made available: the Elegance Special Edition and the F Sport Design. 

As its name indicates, the F Sport Design package gives the vehicle an even sportier look, especially when it comes to the grille, the bumpers and the wider spoilers, without forgetting the stunning 18- inch wheels.  If you are looking to take this a step further, the F Sport Series 1 & 2 are still available to you as well. 

As for the Elegance package, it will give your vehicle a very distinct look, both on the inside and the outside.  It also comes with unique wheels, and boasts a steering wheel with grey topstitches, as well as purple and black upholstered seats. 

Depending on selected version, you can also opt for a red and black, a light gray (birch), a black or “Palomino” interior. 

Moreover, a comfortable interior will welcome you with 8- way power front seats to help you find the perfect setting; they are heated and ventilated as well. A memory function is available as an added option. 

A new multimedia system for 2023 

All of the criticism surrounding the Lexus infotainment system did not fall into deaf ears.   Lexus quickly replaced the touchpad for a touch screen.  The manufacturer took advantage of the opportunity to give the multimedia system a good look over as well; it is now available with an 8- inch screen or optional 12.3- inch screen.  The system includes, amongst other things: 

• Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility
• Bluetooth connectivity for two devices simultaneously
• Intelligent vocal assistant. 

You should also take note that several connected services are offered with 3 or 5 year memberships, including the Infocloud navigation system, the Safety Connect and the Service Connect, amongst several others.  In short, we can say that never before has it been this easy to interact with your vehicle and to reach your destination with absolute peace of mind!

For an even more interesting experience, you could also opt for added features like wireless charging or an automatic auto-dimming rear-view mirror, for example.

An even more advanced safety system 

For even more advanced technologies, the 2023 Lexus UXh moves on to the Lexus+ 2.5 Safety System, a more recent and efficient generation of the Driver Assist System. Amongst other things, this gives you access to:

• Automatic Headlights
• All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
• A Precollision System with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection
• Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist

A Park Assist System with Automatic Braking can also be added with the Luxury and F Sport Series 2 packages.

A hybrid powertrain 

The powertrain remains unchanged for the 2023 Lexus UXh.  Just like the 2022 version, it offers a self-charging hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.0 L 4- cylinder engine with two electric motors, which will provide you with a total of 181 horsepower. 

The Lexus SUV is particularly energy efficient, with fuel consumption numbers of only 6.0 L/100 km in average, with 5.7 L/100 km in the city and 6.2 L/100 km for highway!  On top of being an affordable luxury vehicle, it will also help you save a significant amount of money on fuel.  

Moreover, the Lexus UXh is now standard equipped with the all-wheel drive system for safe driving in all seasons and weather conditions. 

The Lexus UXh is particularly agile and practical for the city: dimensions are ideal for city driving and getting in and out of tight Montreal parking spots.  This means you will have all of the advantages you can get from a small SUV and all of those you’d find on a hatchback as well.  The trunk alone will give you access to 487 liters of cargo space, and you can fold down rear seats for loads more. 

This model also provides you with a comfortable driving experience that is incredibly quiet, especially thanks to the new standard offered Bridgestone tires.  The active sound control found aboard the F Sport versions also adds to the peaceful ambiance.
