Head over heels for the 2022 electric Lexus

Lexus SUVs are definitely loved by buyers everywhere and stand out not only thanks to their stunning exterior, but also due to their outstanding driving experience, numerous high-end features and legendary Lexus reliability.

On top of being a leader when it comes to innovations, now the first electric Lexus SUVs are also making their mark!  For the time being, these electric SUVs are only available on the European market, but it is only a question of time before they cross the Atlantic and make their way to North-America.

2022 Lexus UX300e 

204 horsepower, a 300 to 315 kilometer range depending on WLTP cycle, a stunning avant-garde design that is sure to turn heads, LED taillights that run full width; in short, EVERYTHING about the 2022 UX300e makes you want to get behind the wheel!

This electric Lexus SUV (which sells in Europe at a base price of 49,990 euros), offers  a luscious interior with outstanding fit and finishes as well as several features such as a 10.3- inch tactile screen, head-up display, front and rear parking sensors, road sign recognition and pre-collision alert with pedestrian detection (amongst other things).

Lexus RZ 450e

First revealed as a world premiere on the 20th of April 2022, this electric Lexus will be available on European markets before year’s end.  It is the very first Lexus EV model built on a platform solely dedicated to this model. 

It also boasts a stunning silhouette that says a lot about its performance and capacities.  The RZ450e offers a power of 230 kWh (313 horsepower) provided by a 150 kW electric motor at the front, and another 80 kW motor at the back.  Electric range is estimated at over 400 kilometers.

Electric Lexus LF-Z 

This electric Lexus vehicle is a concept that was revealed in March 2021.  It integrates the driving performance, style and technologies that Lexus plans on offering for 2025, also with its own dedicated platform. 

Amongst other things, it will have the DIRECT4 all-wheel drive technology, advanced infotainment functions (that will also be found on different Lexus models), as well as a state of the art interior. 

Even if exact specifications are still unknown, Lexus estimates an electric range around 600 kilometers and the 0-100 km/hr could be pulverised in as quickly as 3 seconds. 

Electric Lexus LF-30 

First revealed in a world premiere at the 46th edition of the Auto Show in Tokyo in 2019, the electric LF-30 has electric motors integrated into the wheels, and a futuristic silhouette that does not go unnoticed.  

The interior could be described as a cocoon since it focuses first and foremost on comfort, and offers extremely generous space for all occupants. Moreover, the LF-30 has autonomous valet parking functions, allowing the vehicle to park itself or pick you up at your door. 

The streamlined interior seems to have popped right out of a science fiction movie: buttons and commands are focused on the driver, and the passenger screen give it a stunning futuristic look. 

When it was first revealed, numbers were estimated around 550 horsepower and a 500km electric range (European cycle).  More details will be made available over the course of the next few months.
