Spinelli Lexus Lachine presents the new 2021 Lexus IS!
Tempted by the 2021 IS? Discover exclusively all the new features of the seductive luxury compact sedan with Spinelli Lexus Lachine!

In production since 1998, the incredible Lexus IS immediately made a name for itself as a luxury compact sedan. With a design that was radically different from the German models, which were the undisputed benchmarks in the segment at the time, while offering luxury and technologies that were second to none, the Lexus demonstrated very early in its career that premium automobiles were no longer the preserve of Old Europe. And this was not just a temporary coup, as the IS was able to increase its level of performance over the years to keep up with increasingly sophisticated competitors. But this perseverance is paying off, as for 2021, Lexus' compact sedan, which has been redesigned especially for this model year, is armed with assets that will ensure it will be crowned as the queen of the category. Spinelli Lexus Lachine, your Lexus dealer of choice between the West Island of Montreal and Laval, reveals all the information you need on the specifications and prices of the new flagship among luxury cars: the 2021 Lexus IS!

A sharp and sporty design that’ll hit the bull's eye from the West Island to the North Shore of Montreal.

Let's start with THE new 2021 Lexus IS upgrade: its sharp and athletic design, which, as in every generation, is a breath of fresh air in a class where conservatism is the order of the day. With sleek  headlamps as sharp as scalpels with their very pointed tops, a majestic spindle grille occupying the entire front fascia, very chiseled sides incorporating the four doors in a very harmonious manner, and an equally ultra-sculpted light-bar spanning across the rear, the 2021 Lexus IS, which has gained 30 mm in length and width, will display, as soon as it hits the roads leading from Montreal's West Island to Laval on the North Shore, a breathtaking profile!

But what would be the most magnificent of lines without a choice of wheels to match? A missed opportunity to transform an already exceptional design into pure perfection! But on this point, there's nothing to worry about with what Lexus has to offer. In fact, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to making your Lexus shine in the Greater Montreal area, with a selection of 18-inch and 19-inch wheels with highly refined designs!

Famous powertrains, but always as powerful and pleasant for the metropolitan region.

Why change a recipe that works? Just like us, you know the answer: there’s absolutely no reason! And Lexus shows that it understands this as a manufacturer with its freshly redesigned 2021 IS. To be sure, for this new iteration of its flagship luxury sedan, Lexus has decided to use three existing engines, starting with the 241-hp, 2.0-litre 4-cylinder with 258 lb-ft of torque that powers the IS 300. This engine is mated to an optimized eight-speed automatic transmission, bringing all that cavalry to the rear wheels.

But the rear-wheel drive system isn't the only one available on the IS 300, since it can be equipped with all-wheel drive, with the added bonus of being mated to a 260-hp, 3.5 litres V6 engine with a maximum torque of 236 lb-ft. The same V6 powering the 350 IS is also available, but with a jump in numbers (311 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque) and of course, all-wheel drive. In both cases, power is delivered through the familiar six-speed automatic transmission, which divides the output between the front and rear axles. But one thing's for sure, whether you choose the IS 300 AWD or the IS 350, you'll be able to get all the power you want in an optimal and safe way, even in the middle of winter between Laval on the North Shore and the West Island of Montreal!

An interior that's both welcoming and well-equipped to make you enjoy each of your trips aboard.

Inside, on the other hand, Lexus has opted for more conventional interior lines, starting with a classic, straight dashboard design sporting round air vents at the left and right ends. In the center, however, the air vents are rectangular and flank a stunning analog clock right in the middle. The 2021 IS thus offers a welcoming and relaxing environment that is conducive to driving.

But the new IS couldn't wear the Lexus badge if it didn't offer the best in luxury and technology from Lexus. An Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatible infotainment system with a 10.3-inch screen, or a 17-speaker sound system with 1,800 watts of power: you'll have everything you could ever dream of to enhance all your travels on the roads of the Greater Montreal region, and far beyond!
